The Fifth Pathway on the RBSL BA (Hons) Global Management Degree Gains OUVS Approval

Sustainability Management Pathway

Commencing September 2009, RBS London is delighted to offer a new, fifth pathway in Sustainability Management, to add to and complement the four existing pathways on our BA (Hons) Global Business Management degree: Global Business Management; Global Financial Management; Global Marketing Management; and Global Business and Design Management.

Changing Trends

This contemporary and future facing pathway of Sustainability Management ensures that the BA (Hons) Global Business Management degree continues to respond to changing educational and employment trends, providing an opportunity for our students to tap into growing global focus on sustainability as a ‘hot topic’ for governments and business organisations alike, through an integrated and holistic approach to the subject area.

Global Context

Through the study of this specialist pathway, students will gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the core information and conceptual underpinnings in sustainability within the broader global context of business management. Students will examine and explore the relationship between economy, ethics and the environment, with a main focus on its impact on global business practice.

"Taking part in the IBM Business challenge in 2004 -05 was a truly wonderful experience and an enriching learning curve for us all. It combines the pressure of working under time constraints while harnessing the strengths of our multi-cultural team to make an efficient group."
