Evanna Barrington
MA Graduate 2005
I'm now coming to the end of my taught sessions on what has been
a really exciting year at RBS London. I've learnt so much
during my time here, and more importantly met some great people
along the way.
When I arrived in September I was rather nervous of all the
challenges that a year abroad would bring, but was relieved to find
so many people in the same boat as me - in a new city with strange
surroundings. We had a good Induction getting to know fellow
students who come from 23 different countries, and it all started
to fit together quite quickly.
I am really glad I chose the RBS London MA programme as it has
given me a push in the right direction opening up several career
options. Many aspects of my class work and the programme have
been challenging, but the small classes and supportive staff have
allowed me to overcome these and build some new skills.
One of the most attractive offers of this course is the interest
of the staff in helping us with what happens after were finished
the programme. At the start of the second semester we had three
days of workshops on career development, handling interviews, CV
writing. So, between the focused careers department and the Masters
staff helping us with internships for the summer, my future can
only go well!

"I was attracted by the small class sizes and international culture offered by RBS London and having transferred from a university with over 26,000 students you very quickly notice the difference! The School's emphasis on skills development and professional networking has expanded my careers profile in the relatively short time I have been here."
