Valerie Mayer
MA International Business Administration,
2008
I graduated in 2008 with a MA International
Business Administration. After completing a BA (Hons) in English
Literature from Royal Holloway University of London, I decided to
take a new turn in Business.
With no previous knowledge in Business or
management, my education in RBS London has been truly beneficial
and challenging! The classes were interactive with good inspiring
lecturers. I have achieved very practical skills which I am able to
utilise on a daily basis.
With the assistance from the Careers,
Placements & Alumni Service I found both my work experience and
internship. After graduation, I undertook some work experience with
the Communication Group Plc and started a 9 months internship
with 1000Mercis.
The company is a specialist in interactive
marketing and advertising, it’s headquarter is in Paris. The London
team is relatively smaller which means I have been given very
interesting and challenging responsibilities. I have already made a
few business trips!
I am only at the beginning of my career, but I
think I found my niche and I am enjoying the opportunity. I would
certainly recommend the School others!
