Alan Davies
Visiting Lecturer
Prior to stepping into the academic scene,
Alan spent his entire working life in business, in a wide range of
disciplines and positions which include management positions in
Sales & Marketing i.e. Sales Training Manager, Sales Manager
and Sales & Marketing Manager. This was followed by General
Management and, ultimately, by running his own businesses.
As variety is the spice of life, he decided to
add other pursuits to his collection and became a qualified Fitness
Coach and Hypnotherapist. These may seem a little incongruous when
set against his business background and, whilst that is true, the
common thread which links them, along with teaching, is the
development of people, especially as Alan greatly enjoyed his
earlier role transforming individuals.
Sport has played and continues to play, a
major role in his life, where he participated in football, squash,
rugby, tennis and lately marathon running.
Alan Davis is a Visiting Lecturer at Regents
College and the Module Leader for the RBSMAGM Managing Processes –
MGT7100 module.
