Chris is both an academic and consultant with many years of experience of working in both fields. He has worked at Regents School for the last five years teaching on the MA in Global Management Programme. Prior to this he was Head of the Centre for Business Transformation at Anglia Ruskin University. This was a research and consultancy unit that focused on supporting family businesses and companies undertaking major change programmes.
Chris is currently a Non Executive Director of one family business and a long term adviser and mentor to two others. He has just completed a three year assignment as one of the Evaluation Panel for Coutts Family Business of the Year Award. He has worked on family business assignments and change management projects in many parts of the world including; China, Thailand, Laos, Hungary, Hong Kong, India and the USA. He has also been a Visiting Professor to Universities in the USA and Japan and has given numerous Conference Papers. He has published a number of papers in significant Journals, specifically in the areas of cultural change, family businesses and organisational politics. Chris s ambition is to develop a MA in Family Business Transformation programme to help the next generation develop and grow their family businesses.
Chris is a Lecturer at Regents College and the Module Leader for the RBSMAGM Family Business in the Global Economy – BUS7440 and Consultancy – MGT7440 modules.
