Eric CK Chan, MAGM Programme Director and Principal
Lecturer
Eric is the MA Global Management Programme
Director and Principal Lecturer for Regent's College London and has
extensive global academic lecturing, consultancy and personal
development experiences. He has worked expansively as a
strategist, personnel development, trainer, corporate
management/marketing consultant including people, change
management, leadership, teamwork, experiential learning and product
development in Europe and South East Asia. He has also worked with
hundreds of senior executives in organisations and individuals
ranging from high tech start-ups, SMEs, family businesses,
universities, non-profit and the person down the street.
He is an accredited international life coach
(Institute of Leadership and Management), NLP Practitioner (NLP
Society) and trainer for personal effectiveness and organisational
health. He is the ‘human’ network and trainer advisor for the Life
International Foundation for Ecology Academy (LIFE), Karlstad,
Sweden, in providing advanced training programmes and consultancy
in sustainable development for countries and economies in South
East Asia, Latin America and Africa. He is a member of the
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Institute of Leadership and
Management (ILM), Chartered Management Institute (CMI),
International Coaching Alliance (ICA) and the Malaysian Institute
of Management (MIM). He has a MIBA and MBA, with a PhD in Strategic
Studies. He also has several qualifications in alternative
therapies.
Eric oversees the RBS (postgraduates and
undergraduates) outbound experiential learning courses in
leadership and team development. His own teaching and training
areas include Human Communications, Leadership, teams development /
effectiveness, Human Performance, Global Management Strategy
Simulation, Human Communications, Brand You, Organisational
Effectiveness, Sustainability, Values Education, Competency Based
Learning, Cross-cultural Management, Conflict Resolution, How to
facilitate Business strategy simulations programmes, Business and
Life Essential Skills. He mentors and coaches various Regent's
teams in national and Global Business Strategy competitions.
Eric is a Principal Lecturer at Regent's
College and the Module Leader for RBSMAGM Global Management
Simulation – MGT7900, Effectiveness in the Global Organisation –
BUS7250 and Dissertation DIS7900 modules.
