Noemi Sadowska

Programme Director, RBSBAGM and Principal Lecturer

Dr Noemi Sadowska began her career in 1994 as a communication designer at a Designgruppe Transparent in Kiel, Germany. In 1998 she moved to UK to pursue her Masters followed by a PhD at Goldsmiths, University of London. At the same time, she contributed as a visiting lecturer to the teaching team and collaborated on development and validation of a BA (Hons) in Interaction Design within the Design Department at Goldsmiths.
 
In 2002, Noemi joined Regent’s Business School as a lecturer in design management and quickly established herself as Subject Leader on the pathway in International Business with Design Management. Between 2004 and 2008, Noemi has actively contributed to the development of the design management modules, overall design management pathway direction, as well as the undergraduate programme as a whole.

Her responsibilities varied from interactions with students studying or interested in the area of design management to module development, assessments planning, yearly review, examination boards attendance and collaboration with external examiners, just to name a few. As an active member of the Programme Team, in 2007, she contributed to a successful validation of the new BA (Hons) in Global Management. With the restructuring of Regent’s College and formation of the Faculty of Business and Management, Noemi took the opportunity to engage in many more validations of new programmes such as: BA (Hons) in International Events Management (2007), MA in Luxury Brand Management (2009) and BA (Hons) in Leisure Management (in progress). 

In 2008, Noemi was appointed as a Programme Director BA (Hons) in Global Management. Under her leadership the programme has undergone number of adjustments and improvements, most notably the introduction of a new pathway in Global Business and Sustainability Management, successfully validated in 2009. Alongside her programme directorship responsibilities, Noemi teaches design and sustainability innovation and strategic design on BA (Hons) Global Management, creativity on MA in Global Management as well as she is pro-actively involved in dissertation supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She also actively engages in research projects, currently focusing on identifying common platforms of communication between business community and design community, be it in professional or educational contexts.

Noemi is a Principal Lecturer at Regents College and the Co-Module Leader for RBSMAGM  – Creativity DSM 7450 module.
