Tom Morgan

Pathway Leader and Lecturer

Tom Morgan is the Pathway Leader BA (Hons) Global Business and Design Management. With a background in product design and small business he has progressively developed a career in the teaching and research of design management.  Switching from company director of a design and production company, to lecturer and pathway leader of a design management degree, steering from industry to academia for the redirection of design.

Tom is very comfortable with change and seek to develop design methods in new contexts from economics, agriculture, education, management, community affairs, and so on.  The purpose of challenging existing paradigms is in the enhancement of its utility and fundamentally it’s a quest to build resilience for survival, limiting waste and inequality.  His work is upbeat and reactive to problems as business opportunities for social good.
