Experiential Learning Weekend: Additional information for students with disabilities or long-term health conditions

An elective module (STM6710 Knowledge Management and Sustainability) on this degree involves an Experiential Learning Weekend. During the weekend, students take part in a variety of tasks, some of which are physically demanding.

Therefore, if a student has a physical disability or long-term health condition that may impact on their ability to travel to/participate in the weekend, they are strongly advised to make staff aware of this at the earliest possible opportunity, so that appropriate arrangements can be made in advance.

Please note, in order for such arrangements to be made, students should already have a Student Support Agreement set up, following consultation with the Disability Officer. The Disability Officer will need to liaise with the Programme Director, in order to ensure that the student is able to meet the required learning outcomes of the module.
