Arriving in London

Using public transport can be confusing at first, so it is wise to make preparations in advance.

Please see the following pages for information on how to travel to Regent's College from London Airports or via the Eurostar.

If you are traveling by another means of transport, or flying in to an airport outside of London, please contact the IPO for information.

Once in the London, public transport or taxis are often the easiest way to get around.

Taxis

Please note that Heathrow, Luton, Stansted and Gatwick airports are some distance from central London. Taxi fares are therefore expensive - a taxi fare to Regent's College will cost approx £100.

Public Transport

An Oyster Card is the cheapest way to travel on London buses and the London Underground. They can be purchased at any underground station for £3, and you must also add credit to the card.  We strongly recommend all students to purchase an Oyster card at the first opportunity.  More information is available at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/oysteronline/2732.aspx

All mainline train stations in Central London are served by the London Underground (the Tube). We recommend students to take the appropriate tube line from their arrival station to Baker Street. Baker Street Station is only a short walk from Regent's College.

"RBS London is meeting my expectations. The school initially appealed to me because of its friendly and cross cultural environment where international contacts can be made. I am looking forward to securing an internship in London during the summer."
